So that was something brief about Ubuntu 18.04, let’s now get to our main topic, which is how to dual boot Ubuntu with Windows 10 system. So let’s get starting,
Dual boot Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with Windows 10
For purpose of this tutorial, we assume that you have Windows 10 system with at least 25 Gb free HDD space. If you have then move onto the article,
Step:1) Login into your Windows 10 system. Once done, we need to open Disk Management Console. To open Disk Management console, open run prompt (by pressing Windows Key + R or by typing ‘run’ in search bar) & type ‘diskmgmt.msc‘
Step:2) We need to free up some space from our HDD, we will do it by shrinking the volume that has some free space. Select the partition with some free space (at least 25 Gb), right click & select ‘Shrink Volume‘
Step:3) On next screen, select the amount you want to shrink and press ‘Shrink’. For our tutorial, we will be using 40 GB,
Step:4) As shown is the screenshot below, we now have 40 GB of unallocated space that will be used for Ubuntu 18.04 installation
Step:5) Next step is to shutdown your system & insert a bootable USB or a Live DVD for Ubuntu 18.04 onto the system & than boot the system into the Ubuntu image,
Step:6) Once the Ubuntu image has been booted up, we should see the following options. Select ‘Install Ubuntu’, Nuance paperport 12 se download.
Step:7) On next screen, we will be asked for ‘Keyboard Layout’, I am leaving it at default, modify it as per your needs & press Continue,
Step:8) On the next screen we are introduced to a little change, we have an extra option to select what apps we need to install on our system & we can either select Normal installation with all the default applications or we can also select Minimal Installation with only a web browser & some basic utilities. Select the option, you see fit & press Continue,
Step:9) On the next screen, we will select the installation type. Since we are dual booting with Window 10, we will select the first option ‘Install Ubuntu alongside Windows 10′, rest options can be choosen when we are installing Ubuntu afresh,

Step:10) On the following screen, press ‘Write changes to disk‘ to proceed further with the installation,
Step:11) Now we would be asked about our Geographical location, select your country & proceed by clicking on the Continue button,
Step:12) Now comes the part of installation, where we need to create information about our User, our computer name & password etc. Enter all the requested information & once done, press Continue,
Step:13) We have now entered all the needed information, Ubuntu will now proceed with the installation & depending on the allocated system resources it can take anywhere between 5 to 20 mins,
Step:14) Once the installation has been completed, we will be asked to restart our system. Press on ‘Restart Now’. Also remove the installation media from system before restarting the system,
Step:15) Now when the system is restarted, we will see the following boot menu first. Here we can either opt to login to Ubuntu by selecting the first option or we can also boot into Windows 10 by selecting the last option. We will boot into Ubuntu, Total war attila download crack.
Step:16) Now after completing the bootup process, we will see the login screen. Select the created user & enter the password to login,
Step:17) That’s it guys, we have successfully installed Ubuntu along with Windows 10 & can now use both the operating systems without an issue,

There are many Option to dual boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu, But today am going to dual boot using USB Drive. But Before Following this Guide Please make sure your computers with a Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI). If you are using BIOS version, then this Guide will not work for you. Creating Bootable Ubuntu USB drive process is same for Both version, but Installation Guide is Different.
How can you tell if your computer has a UEFI over a standard BIOS?
To check Which Interface you are Using, Simply go to Start Button & search for “System Information.”
Now in System summary you can see BIOS mode – (In mine computer it’s showing UEFI).
If it’s showing same for you, then follow this Guide otherwise wait for my next Guide on BIOS version Computer. If in System Information it’s not showing BIOS mode then don’t worry here is another way to check, Just check you are using 32bit or 64bit Machine, you can easily check by using My Computer / My PC Properties.

Create A Ubuntu USB Drive to dual boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu.
* First Download Ubuntu ISO File go to Ubuntu Site to download ISO.
The Current latest version of Ubuntu is 16.04.1 and linux release Long term support which means it will be supported until 2021.
Now just click on download button & make sure you are downloading correct version, If you are using 32 bit System then click on Alternative downloads and torrents, and you can find 32-bit version.
On next page, It will ask you for donating some amount if you want you can else you can set it to 0$ & then Click on Ubuntu Download for Desktop.
Now Downloading will start automatically.
Now we need a Software or Program to make Ubuntu ISO File bootable to dual boot Windows 10 & Ubuntu.

Win32 Disk Imager Software is used to copy Ubuntu ISO into USB Drive. It’s not like simple copy-paste, wilwillBurn ISO file into USB Drive like we Burn DVD using Nero. Now Double Click on downloaded File to run Setup Wizard.
Now Setup wizard will Open simply click on Next Button, then Accept the agreement; Now It will ask you for Destination Folder Don’t change anything, Now at the end Click on Install Button. (Installation Process is similar to other software Installation, If still, you facing any difficulty then you can comment, I will try to Help You.)
Now Installation Process will start & It will take few minutes to complete the Installation Now in final page It will ask you to Run Win 32 Disk Imager just mark it & Click on Finish.
Now Win32 Disk Imager will Open. Before Start burning USB Drive move your valuable data to the hard disk then format your USB Drive Because this process will erase all your stored data from USB Drive.
How to Format a USB Drive.
Open My Computer / My PC, Right Click on USB Drive then Click on the Format Button.
Now a Window will appear, Simply click on Start & Your USB Drive will format within Few Seconds.
Now in Win 32 Disk Imager Software Select ISO File, to select ISO file click on Folder Icon then locate Ubuntu ISO File that we downloaded Before, Now just Select Ubuntu ISO File then click on Open.
Now all you have to do is click on “Write Button”. Now in Few Minutes files will be copied to the USB Drive and you will be able to dual boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu.
How to Turn Off Fast Boot
If you have UEFI bootloader, then you need to Turn off the fast boot to speed up the boot time. Windows prevents booting from a USB until it has fully loaded. And If we Don’t turn off then Windows Prevent to Boot Ubuntu from USB Drive.
To turn off Fast Boot first we need to access Power Option, to access power option Right Click on Start button then click on Power Option (you can find the third Option)
Now a Window will open on right sidebar click on choose what the power button does.
Now on next window click on Change Settings that are currently unavailable, Now in Shutdown settings you can find fast boot option, Unmark it & then click on Save Changes.
Done you successfully Turn Off Fast Boot, Now it will help you in Speed up the Boot Time.
Before start following Installation Process Don’t forget to create backup of Windows 10 (Optional but Highly Recommended)

After Creating Bootable USB Drive of Ubuntu, it’s time to Dual boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu. Don’t remove USB Drive otherwise you may start facing errors.
Windows 10 Dual Boot Ubuntu Install
Now Restart Your Computer when Computer Boot Again Continually press Esc Key. Now Startup Menu Will Appear.
click on F9 to enter into Boot Device Option. (Boot device option key maybe different in your computer in mine it’s F9)
Now Select USB Drive that you create To Dual Boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu.
Now Ubuntu Installation menu will appear,you don’t need to install Ubuntu. You can try Ubuntu without Installing just select “try Ubuntu without Installing” and then Hit Enter.
Add Windows 10 Dual Boot Ubuntu 16
Done Now Ubuntu Boot Logo will appear & within few seconds Ubuntu will Start.
Done You Successfully Installed Ubuntu, Now If you want to go back to Use Windows 10 then Don’t remove USB Drive directly Shutdown Ubuntu by clicking on settings Icon.
After Few Minutes it will ask you to remove USB Drive, then remove & just hit enter. Next time when you start computer windows 10 will load.
